A closed queueing network model for retransmission based transport protocols over cell-switching networks

This paper models an acknowledgement and retransmission based transport protocol with window flow control over cell based switch using closed loop concepts; acknowledgements are based on packets (multiple cells). Calculation of cell loss probability at the switch is shown for such a model.
