An architecture for implementation of OSI protocols: support packages, tools and performance issues

The architecture describes the mechanism for inter-layer communication. The implementation is presented in terms of its support packages and tools. Performance measurements of the implementation are shown to highlight the features of the implementation. The advantage and disadvantages of this architecture are discussed.
