Ranking of intuitionistic fuzzy alternatives in a multi-criteria decision making problem

We propose a new solution to a ranking oriented multi-criteria decision making problem for the alternatives expressed via Atanassov's intuitionistic fuzzy sets (A-IFSs, for short). We show that the new solution better fulfills our expectations than methods proposed in the literature which fail in some situations.
