The journey to IEEE ITS Magazine [Guest Editorial]

An ancient Chinese saying states that "A good beginning is half the success." For the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Magazine, I must acknowledge its long and bumpy beginning. However, the fact that our inaugural issue is being published today constitutes more than half the success.
