Editor's note: The following message was presented to the IEEE ITS Society's Board of Governor's (BoG) Meeting on October 4, 2007, at the Bill & Melinda Gates Commons, Paul Allan Center for Computer Science and Engineering, University of Washington, Seattle, Washington, USA. This is the most recent President's Report to the BoG. Prof. Wang was the President-Elect (2006), President (2006-2007), Past President (2008), and the Founding Editorin-Chief of ITSM. Currently, he is the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems.
