Computer aided model of epidemic

This paper reports the development of a computer-aided mathematical model for predicting the severity of the Brown Rust disease of wheat. A multiple regression equation Y=15.37+0.774 X/sub 2/-0.615 X/sub 2/ was developed relating disease to maximum temperature (X/sub 1/) and relative humidity (X/sub 2/) with a significant value of multiple determinant coefficient (R/sup 2/=0.738).
