A network management approach for a distributed industrial application and the related implementation

Local networks are used to solve a great deal of problems related with industrial applications mainly at the shop floor and field levels. This paper presents the implementation of a complete distributed industrial system comprising an industrial network, an intelligent industrial controller and the related network management.
