Abstract:
In this paper, in order to simplify the control of indirect matrix converter (IMC) and ensure the reliability of it, the theory of finite state machine (FSM) is employed. Essentially, power electronics system consists of limited amount of states, so FSM can be introduced to the design of power electronics control system. The topology of IMC is made up of two stages: rectifier stage and inverter stage. The modulation strategy and commutation method of each stage are analyzed respectively, and the control algorithm based on finite state machine is developed. Simulation is finished by Matlab-Stateflow. The results have verified the effectiveness of the proposed control method.
