Estimation of parameters for induction motor’s analytical model by direct search method

The model equivalent circuit is identified. From motor manufacturers test report, parameters R

are calculated. The rotor parameters X12, X1, X2 ,R1, R2 and stator parameter X

are determined by using direct search optimization method. The starting and running performance values are calculated and compared with available values. From estimated parameters, the transient and sub-transient reactance and time constants are calculated using Laplace operational inductance.
