Double-Winding Rotary-Linear Induction Motor

A rotary-linear induction motor whose stator possesses two windings generating the rotating and travelling fields is described. A theoretical analysis of the magnetic field and motor performance takes into account finite stator length effects. Computational results are partially verified by experimental measurements of the motor's model.
