640 Gbit/s/port optical packet switch prototype with optical buffer using 1 × 8 PLZT optical switch and parallel pipeline buffer manager

We develop 640 (64-wavelengths × 10) Gbit/s/port DWDM-based optical packet switch prototype and demonstrate low power, error-free (BER≪1E-9) operation with optical buffering.
