Pattern Oriented Requirements towards Independent Software Vendors

More and more consumer electronics companies and even large semiconductor manufacturers are outsourcing their hardware / software components. With rising complexity in product features, it becomes imperative to pin down the requirements as early as possible in the development phase to ensure a greater chance of project success. This paper discusses a model that is based on requirements patterns. This model comprises of an ISV (Independent SoftwareVendor) requirement pattern using an aggregation of many requirements patterns in the traditional object inheritance sense.
