Inversion-based control of a hybrid Electric Vehicle using a split Electric Variable Transmission

The electric variable transmission (EVT) is an electromechanical converter with two mechanical ports and one electrical port (consisting of two concentric machines and two inverters) which is suitably for applications in hybrid electric vehicle. This paper is focused on an EVT hybrid vehicle modeling and its control structure. EMR (Energetic Macroscopic Representation) is used to the global modeling. The Inversion-based control deduced from the system EMR is mainly discussed. A simple rule-based strategy is used to check the modeling and this control structure under a new European driving cycle (NEDC).
