Power electronics- an enabling technology for reducing CO2 with demand-driven electric power control

In this paper it will show that improvements in some key applications in the core it is possible to reduce the CO
₂
emission substantially. Wasted electronic power can be converted directly into CO
₂
emissions. The cost of this investment pays back within one to five years. Automotive manufacturer will benefit financially from lower CO
₂
penalty payments.
