Living in real time, side B (Where will the brain power come from?)

The Agrarian Age student learned from parents, villagers, and the village shaman in order to survive. The Info Age student does the same, but InfoKids use information technology in ways never imagined even 10 years ago. Oddly, education in the Info Age is returning to an Agrarian Age form, one that Machine Age educators thought was extinct. In particular Info Age education is becoming personalized, individualized, and delivered just-in-time. But unlike their Agrarian Age ancestors, InfoKids learn from machines; in fact, they learn more from machines than their Machine Age predecessors did. Before exploring FutureSchools of the Info Age, I consider the faults of the Machine Age schoolhouse.<
