Performance assessment indices for primary energy sources and generation systems

This paper presents a methodology for monitoring the performance of primary energy sources and generation systems under the point of view of continuous availability. A test case based on the COPEL system, in Brazil, covering a period of 6 years (1985-1990) is presented and thoroughly discussed.<
