The Word Is Getting Around [Editor's Column]

Iam happy to share with you the many positive comments that I have received regarding IEEE Industrial Electronics Magazine. Recently, I attended the very successful ISIE 2008 conference in Cambridge, U.K. Many colleagues expressed their interest in the magazine's content and their appreciation for how this content is organized into main features, departments, and columns. This is due to the work of our editorial board in soliciting and selecting contributions but also to the IEEE Magazines department staff. Credit should go to them (you can find their names in the table of contents of the magazine). The staff organizes the material and provides its nice graphical presentation, which is essential for a magazine that should catch the attention of people with different interests but willing to enlarge their horizons.
