Design of low-loss one-dimensional planar-photonic crystal coupled-cavity waveguides

We propose a novel design method for low-loss one-dimensional planar-photonic crystal coupled-cavity waveguide (CCW). The calculated intrinsic losses in the proposed CCW are 2 orders of magnitude lower than those in previously reported CCW structure.
