Plenary Session

The Plenary Session begins with formal opening remarks by the Executive-Committee Chair, Tim Tredwell. Following these remarks, there are two Plenary Talks. Following the first two Plenary Talks, there will be a presentation of Awards from ISSCC, SSCS, and the IEEE. Following a short break, the third and fourth Plenary Talks will be given. Overall, the Plenary Talks will provide a range of perspectives on th is year's Conference Theme: "System Integration for Life and Style". As semiconductor technology continues its advance into the nanometer domain, the range of electronics systems being addressed: broadens from the large, with enormous processing and storage in computing, to the small, providing micropower and wireless mobile functions. Increased integration of all these capabilities is enabling ever-new and exciting systems which alter our lives and our lifestyles in endless ways.
