Large Motors on Limited Capacity Transmission Lines

This paper defines some utility restrictions and limitations for the application of large motors and their systems, describes theory and solutions to starting inrush and voltage flicker, specifically analyzes several starting methods and their effects on the system, and reviews some economic considerations.
