Integrated temperature sensor with digital output for SoC power management

In this paper a novel compact CMOS temperature sensor with built-in analogue to digital conversion and calibration is presented. It has been implemented in ST's 90 nm and 65 nm processes and is part of ST's low-power platform strategy to optimize SoC power consumption and performance.
