Comments on "design of an optimal two-channel orthogonal filterbank using semidefinite programming"

We point out that the algorithm for designing two-channel orthogonal filterbanks proposed by Karmarkar is a particular case of a previous algorithm. Also, we correct an error in the cited paper.
