Microprocessors in Preengineering

The use of microcomputer systems for an elective sequence in our preengineering program at a liberal arts college was motivated by student requests for assembly language programming and for computer courses oriented more toward the sciences. We describe a very modestly priced system and two courses which are based on the Intel 8080A.
