The Effects of Additional Education on the Subsequent Labor Market Success of Two-Year College Alumni: The Case for Engineering Maajors

The effects of an additional two years of college on the subsequent labor market experiences of two-year college engineering/ technology graduates are examined in this paper. The results indicate that compensation and occupational level are enhanced by the possession of a baccalaureate degree. Also, the data suggest individuals with terminal two-year college diplomas perceive that their careers are somewhat impeded by the lack of a bachelor's degree.
