On the Balance of an AC Wheatstone Bridge

The conditions for balance of an ac Wheatstone bridge as commonly shown in practice are simplified for ease of design and handling. As a result the measurements are less accurate. To improve this state, the writer has developed twenty-eight pairs of equations based on rigorous solutions. They were further refined by adopting a new set of parameters: ρ, ξ, and γ. An example is given to illustrate the use of these equations in any balanced state on the ρ -ξ coordinate plane.
