The Use of Watermark and Hash Function for the Authentication of Digital Images Mapped through the use of the Wavelet Transform

This paper presents a method for inserting a watermark in digital images through the mapping of its features using the wavelet transform. To achieve the lowest computational cost and provide security, the lifting scheme was chosen instead of filter banks, and hash functions with symmetric keys, respectively.
