Economic Shift in Electric Power Generation with Line Flow Constraints

This paper presents a method of finding the optimum shift in generation to eliminate overloading of lines and transformers or to maintain fixed flows on tie lines. It incorporates the concept of generalized inverse matrices, and the sensitivity matrix of power systems.
