Wavelet Video Coding Combining Pyramidal Lattice Vector Quantization with Wyner-Ziv Coding

The paper presents a new video coding scheme combining pyramidal lattice vector quantization (PLVQ) with distributed video coding (DVC). Our scheme firstly applies lattice A

quantization. LVQ can extract the intra-frame dependences of wavelet coefficients; DVC can exact inter-frame dependences at the decoder. So, though intra-frame structure is used in our scheme, it has better performance than intra-frame coding
