A Binocular Stereoscopic Display System for Echocardiography

We describe a three-dimensional cardiographic imaging systém based on the principle of binocular stereoscopy. The system produces a three-dimensional image of the heart chamber from two-dimensional representations, i. e., "ultrasono-tomograms."
