Comparison of a Dynamic and Steady-State Model for Determining Nerve Fiber Threshold

A comparison of thresholds calculated from a steady-state and a dynamic model of a myelinated nerve fiber is discussed. It is found that these models compare favorably for stimulus pulse durations of l00 μs or longer.
