Application of the Sine-Transform Method in Time-of-Flight Positron-Emission Image Reconstruction Algorithms

The image reconstruction algorithms for time-of-flight positron-emission tomography systems are formulated as linear systems described by nonseparable, block-banded Toeplitz matrices, and sinetransform techniques are used to implement the algorithm efficiently.
