Load-Pull Characterization for Mesfet Oscillator Design

Experimental characterization based on load-pull measurements allows for a new approach to the design of microwave oscillators. A procedure has been implemented to evaluate the performance of a two port active device operating in such conditionally unstable situation to present a negative resistance at one port (++).
