Computer Controlled Pulse Phase Measurement System

Modern Pulsed Microwave Systems (such as radar systems) require pulse t o pulse phase coherency, so that coherent integration and other sophisticated signal processing techniques may be used to discriminate against noise and unwanted signals. Before microwave components can be developed to meet any given system requirements for pulse to pulse phase coherency, a measurement system must he established which can repeatably measure the phase shift across any given pulse to the required accuracy.
