18-40 GHz Automatic Network Analysis

At Avantek, there is an increasing need to accurately characterize the S-parameters of GaAs FETs (and other microwave components) at frequencies above 18 GHz. Our approach to making these ineasurements has been to develop micro-computer-controlled automatic network analyzer (ANA) "adapter" for the commercially available 18 GHz Hewlett-Packard model 8409B network analyzer that extend its measurement capability into the millimeter wavelength range.
