Introduction to the Special Section on Computational Nanobioscience

The ten papers in this special section illustrate the variety of applications that computational methods find in the field of nanobioscience, ranging from computational modeling of molecular processes and bioassay design all the way to integrative data analysis methods and system level simulation. Selected papers demonstrate the central role played by computational methods in contemporary nanobioscience research. The selected papers are briefly summarized.
