Multicriteria Model Applied to the Industrialization Process of the Cashew Nut

The industrialization process of cashew nut involves a decision making on the basis of subjective criteria. It should be analyzed by the production manager, decision maker, whom always aims the choice of the alternatives that include the most amounts of whole nuts at the end of the process. At present this choice is done through the data checking in an informative report or considering the manager's tacit experience. This one is therefore prone to make a mistake in the attainment of the best possible solution. Due to the nature of the problem and the need to present a solution we apply the ZAPROS III method with the objective to present solution alternatives. The modeling result with the method ZAPROS III in the case study was a relative partial ordering of the alternatives in the manager's preferences.
