Load Management Study of Simulated Control of Residential Central Air Conditioners on the Detroit Edison Company System

For the first time, operating personnel of an electric utility have studied the net impact on operating revenue due to mandatory load management of air conditioners. Control was simulated over two entire summers for all residential central air conditioners on The Detroit Edison Company system.
