Modified Field Test on Fault Surge and Simulation of This Test with A Transient Network Analyzer

This paper describes the results of a field test which simulated a fault surge. The test provided information on magnitudes, waveforms and significant phenomena relating to fault surges. A TNA test which simulated the field test indicated that a TNA provided reliable results.
