Studies on Cooling of Gap-Pickup Turbogenerator Rotors with Cross-Flow Ventilation

The total pressure difference developed by gap pickup rotors is studied by defining the velocity distribution in the gap of rough surfaces. A theoretical eauation is derived for determining its value.
