Fast Technique for Power System Security Assessment Using Sensitivity Parameters of Linear Programming

This paper presents a proposed technique for the real time control of the power system emergency state. A set of control actions based on the optimal redispatch function are applied to correct the unsecure system operating conditions using sensitivity parameters of the base case dispatch solved by linear programming.
