Survey of Low Ground Electrode Impedance Measurements

This paper describes the different techniques developed to date for measuring the substation ground grid impedance, taking into account a possible significant reactive component. It gives general recommendations and emphasizes some of the difficulties in the application of each method. Also included is a general list of equipment used with the different measuring techniques.
