Approximating multirate estimation using a filter bank

A scheme of low rate estimation from high rate measurements using a filter bank is presented in this paper. The dimensions of the low rate measurement models are the same as the high rate measurement model and, due to the lowpass filtering effect of the filter bank, better approximated estimates are obtained.<
