An Efficient Method for Real-Time Simulation of Large Power System Distribances

This paper describes a method capable of simulating, interactively and in real time, the dynamic behaviour of a power system under emergency conditions. The method has been developed as a suitable basis for a digital simulator for use in training operators to deal effectively with severe disturbances.
