Impedance Characteristics of Large Tower Footing to a A 100μS Wide Square Wave of Current

Tests were performed, using a 2500 volt pulse generator, to determine impedance variations of six tower footings on the BPA 1100 kV test line. Comparisons are made with the tower's low frequency resistance.
