1980 - 1982 Update International Cumulative Index on Radar Systems

A complete issue of the Cumulative Index on Radar Systems, that contained listings of papers and books published through December 1976, was issued by the IEEE in 1978 under publication number JH-4675-5. This cumulative index, in bound form, contains listings in 58 subject categories of papers related to the field of radar and an alphabetical author cross-index. Radar publications from the years 1977-79 were indexed in a first update that was published in the Proceedings of the IEEE 1980 International Radar Conference. This second update contains listings of radar publications from the years 1980-82 and follows the conventions and practices established in the earlier index publications. A bibliography of sources for the papers is given in Table I, with any abbreviations used in the index. The letters IEEE are omitted from citations to Proceedings, Transactions and other IEEE publications, but may be assumed when a different source is not given. The subject categories, shown in Table II, are the same as those in the previous issues except that the category of Laser Radar was added. The committee recognizes that recent developments may make additional subject category changes desirable, but did not consider that a three-year update was an appropriate time for significant subject changes.
