Correlation Between the Quasi-Peak Value of Noise Measured by Aiya's Noise Meter and the rms Value Measured by the ARN-2 Recorder

The parameters measured by the two methods are well correlated for the burst form of noise. The median value of the conversion ratio could be stated as 10 dB with a standard deviation of 4 dB. The value is quantity-addressed and is fairly valid generally. For background noise, the two parameters are practically uncor-related. There is a likelihood for the measurements recorded by the ARN-2 recorder to be contaminated.
