False Echoes in Line-Type Radar Pulsers

This paper comprises studies made in formulating criteria for the elimination of false echoes in line-type radar pulsers. Equations and curves are derived for predicting the presence or absence of echoes in a given pulser. Experimental tests approximately verify the curves for pulses of 4-microseconds duration.
