An Analog-Tuned Digital Frequency Synthesizer Tuning System for FM/AM Tuners

A conceptually simple and low cost digital frequency synthesis technique is described here. It combines the simplicity and convenience of analog tuning with the accuracy and stability of digital synthesis thus making the system particularly suitable for application in FM/AM tuners.
