Electrostatic shock like solution associated with lower hybrid waves in presence of negative ions

Electrostatic shock like solutions associated with the lower hybrid mode in the presence of negative ions is obtained and the role of negative ions is discussed. It is found that shock like solutions exist when the hot electron concentration and the concentration of the negative ion species is greater than some limiting value.<
