Third-order statistics: issue of PDF symmetry

The notion that the third-order cumulant sequences of stationary random processes with symmetric PDFs are identically zero is examined. It is shown that it has a somewhat restrictive interpretation that involves the marginal PDF as well as various joint PDFs.<
